O'Brien County is located in the northwest part of Iowa near Minnesota to the north and South Dakota to the west.

Mission Statement

This information was found as I was researching the Doran family. Since there are at least three connections between the Doran and English families I thought this would be useful to those working on the English Family history.

I am simply posting some items I found that I believe are relevent to this family. I am including my notations regarding the information in the post. I have made no effort to prove or verify the data. I hope it will be helpful in providing clues about the family connections for English Family researchers.

I am hopeful that eventually a researcher from this family will assume this BLOG and verify the details.
