NOTE: Herbert's mother, Jessie H (Scott) English died a few days after Herbert was born. George and Lulu must be the children of a second wife of William. 1880 Census at O'Brien Co Iowa lists William and Jessie as married within the census year. Herbert was born the next year and Jessie died a few days later. Most 1890 census reports were destroyed in a fire. George was born Apr 1885 Iowa, and Lulu was born May 1887 Iowa, per this census.
